Katieisms

Here are some of her classics lately:

.) Katie was playing with my hair.  I asked her how it looked.  She told that it looked "dangerous."
.) We picked up lunch at Panera.  On the car ride home, Katie said that her "Panera smells good."
.) Mommy, Katie and Ian were going to the park.  I told Katie that I was going to stop and get some coffee on the way.  She told me "okay but make it quick."
.)  Daddy went out the night before with clients to a Scotch tasting.  He was sleeping in the next morning and I said to him "did you have too much to drink?"  Katie saw the water glass next to the bed, took it and said "Daddy, you had too much water.  I take your glass."
.) We went to Starbucks to get coffee.  Katie asked for a donut.  I told her no and that we were just getting drinks.  She thought about it and then said "okay, I want a donut latte."
.) As we were leaving a store, a woman held the door open for Mommy, Katie and Ian.  Katie stopped, looked at her and said "that is nice.  Thank you."
.) Mommy and Daddy were meeting with an insurance guy one Saturday morning.  He was talking to us about his insurance company.  Katie was playing in the room and suddenly said "that sounds like a nice company."
.) We stopped at the dealership to get a light bulb for the car (unfortunately we had to get it at the dealership).  As we pulled up to the dealership, Katie said to us that she "want to go inside and check out the fine cars."
.) Katie cannot pronounce brother correctly and it comes out "butter."  She is always telling people that Ian is her "little butter."
.) Katie has a glow worm that she takes to bed at night.  She has always called it her elephant (we have never known why.)  About a month again, she changed its name to "elephante" after learning the word in her Spanish class.  She says it with a little accent too and it makes Daddy and Mommy smile everytime.
