Classmate's Birthday Party
"Mommy, we are going to MY friend's birthday party. Not your friend's birthday party."
Birthday Boy!
Our little boy is 1 year old! Mommy took the day off from work for the big day. Ian slept in for his birthday (he must have known what he was in for during the day)! We went to breakfast in town, went to the park and had dinner at Panera (for the mac & cheese - a big favorite). Katie & Mommy sang Happy Birthday and had a cake for Ian. It was a great day for everyone until it was time for gifts when Katie thought it "was not fair that Ian gets gifts." Ian didn't even seem to notice that there was any issue and actually gave Katie one of his drum sticks for his new toy!
July 4th Weekend
We had a great time at Nanny & Pop-pop's house for the holiday. We enjoyed some pool time, a birthday party for Ian and a trip to the beach (Ian's first)!
Pool Time
When the weather was really hot at the end of June, we pulled out the kids' pool and let them play. They both loved it! Ian was not happy about being put into his stationary entertainer afterwards!
