Katieisms
1.) We were in the car driving around one weekend. Katie suddenly said to us "let's go home, eat lunch and take a nap. Sound like a plan?"
2.) Katie was talking to Aunt Lisa when she was visiting. Aunt Lisa asked Katie what foods she liked. She listed off some and then, after a few moments of thought, told Aunt Lisa that she "especially likes edamame."
3.) Katie was standing by our trash can and Daddy asked her what she was doing. Katie replied that she "is looking busy."
4.) Katie was getting on Mommy and Daddy's bed one afternoon. She turned to me and said "geez Mommy. Too many pillows on the bed."
5.) We sat down last weekend for breakfast. Katie turned to Daddy and said "so Daddy, let's talk about our plan for lunch."
6.) Katie was in the car with Mommy and Ian today. I told Katie that we should go to the park because it was a nice day outside. She replied, "no Mommy. It is sunny outside but cold. That is not a nice day."
Ian is 7 Months!

It is going so fast. He is clearly in a hurry to get moving. He is already trying to feed himself with the spoons. He is trying to figure out how to pick up little pieces of food and get it into his mouth. He is quickly mastering the sippy cup. He won't stay still AT ALL (even in his sleep). You practically have to wrestle him down to get his diaper changed. He will roll all the way across the room in seconds. He will grab and pull at anything he can get his hands on (including your hair, ears, nose, etc.) He is a Mommy's boy right now (although I am sure that will change as he gets older). He gets jealous if I am not paying attention to him and will practically scream until I look and talk to him. He has an infectious laugh and the cutest little smile you can find. He is already working on his fourth tooth and the smile is getting cuter every day. He seems to recognize his name now (as well as Katie's). He is now thoroughly fascinated by Camilla and tries to grab at her if she walks by him. Ian is just amazing us every day with how quickly he is trying to catch up with his sister!
