Lunch Request
I asked Katie what she wanted for lunch last week and she clearly told me that she wanted a "ham sandwich at Starbucks." We do not have lunch at Starbucks but somehow she figured out exactly what she wanted and where. She definitely has a mind of her own.

Rocking Mickey
Katie told me this morning that Mickey needs to be "rocked." She brought him into the rocking chair and told Mommy he needed to be "tucked with blanket." She then rocked him in the chair while singing. It was absolutely adorable to watch.
Starbucks & "Sanitizer"
After only a week with Mommy at home, Katie is quickly taking on many of my habits. She wakes up from her naps and asks if we are going to Starbucks. She tells me her hands are "yucky" and she needs "sanitizer" (hand sanitizer). She tells me we have to "clean up" after we are done eating. She is very funny these days and we are enjoying our time together before the baby's arrival.
Baby Boy
The little guy's arrival could be any day now. Hopefully he will at least give us this weekend to get a few more things done for him (like setting up the crib)! We had an ultrasound on Tuesday and he is doing well. He is weighing in around 7 1/2 lbs. right now so hopefully he does not wait too much longer. We are hoping for a baby under 9 lbs. this time!!
South Jersey
We went to South Jersey this weekend. We had fun at our surprise baby shower for the little one (and Katie did a great job opening all the gifts)! Thank you to Nanny, Pop-pop, "Unca," Uncle Charlie and Aunt Carolyn for hosting a nice evening for us.
We also enjoyed a little pool time for Katie to work on her swimming skills. She loved her "pool time." Poor Camilla tore a ligament in her back leg (and is also having some other problems that are delaying her surgery), so she did not have as much fun. Hopefully next time everyone will be up for the trip!

Mommy's Helper
Katie loves to pull up a chair in the kitchen and "help" Mommy cook. She is very good at putting things in bowls, stirring and anything else that Mommy asks for help with when we are in the kitchen.
Dinner with Dinosaurs
Katie decided to "host" a dinner with her inflatable dinosaurs from her pool. She put them into the seats at the table and served them "mac and cheese" and "hamburgers."
