Katieisms

Katie loves to be just like Mommy now. She likes to carry her "purse" with her when we go out. She likes to do her "ake-up" (make-up) with Mommy in the morning. I gave her a small make-up bag with some "make-up" inside so that she can sit with me and put on make-up. She loves jewerly and will go into Mommy's jewerly chest to get her "beads" which she will tell us is "pretty."

Katie is a little bossy now when she decides to do something. Tonight she told Camilla to "walk" and "go" because she wanted her to go upstairs with her.

Katie asked Mommy for "cash" this morning. When I asked her why she wanted cash, she said "for juice." We have no idea where she got the idea that she needed cash for juice, but are very concerned that she is already asking us for cash before she is even 2 years old!!

More Gymboree

Pacifiers

Katie loves her pacifiers (even though she only gets them during car rides and when sleeping). She found a second pacifier in her car seat this weekend and decided to try using 2 pacifiers at once!

Zoo

Nanny and Pop-pop took Katie to the Cape May Zoo two weekends ago. Here are some of the pictures from the visit.

Bay

We took Katie and Camilla to the bay in Absecon on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day and we wanted to enjoy it. Katie came home with a pocket full of rocks that she collected on the walk!

St. Patrick's Day

Katie stayed with Nanny & Pop-pop for a few days last week. She got to show them her festive St. Patrick's Day outfit from Grandpa!

Walk in Town

Lizard

We took Katie to Petsmart today and a salesperson asked if Katie would like to pet a lizard. She was interested in looking at it but was scared to pet it (she actually held her hands up against her chest so that they did not get close to the lizard)!

Starbucks

We went to Starbucks yesterday for an afternoon snack (and coffee for the adults). Katie had fun playing on the bench and leaning on the table!

Computer Shopping

The family computer finally came to its end this weekend so we went computer shopping. Here is Katie checking out some computers at Best Buy yesterday.

Gymboree

We signed Katie up for Gymboree classes. She loves them and is starting to get more brave in trying out the different gym set-ups. Today she got very good at crawling through the tunnels.

"Katieisms"

Katie is really a chatterbox now. She loves to do "role call" in the morning. When she wakes up, she will call for Daddy, Mommy and "Doggy." If we do not answer her, she will keep calling until you respond!

She also says "yes" now but has not figured out the proper pronunciation of it so she sounds like she says "a**" when you ask her a question. We keep repeating the word yes after she says it so that she can work on this!

On Saturday, Mommy asked Daddy what he wanted for dinner on Sunday night. Katie responded, while looking at a cookbook, "mac and cheese." We didn't think she even knew what this was, so we asked again and she clearly told us that she wanted "mac and cheese!" When we had the "mac and cheese" last night for dinner, so asked for "more peas" (aka please).

Necklaces

Katie loves playing with Mommy's jewelry. She will take necklaces off of me and put them on her. She is getting ready to learn how to properly accessorize!
