Expert Diner

Apparently we eat out a lot because Katie has turned into an expert restaurant patron. She puts her napkin in her lap, gives the plate to the waiter when the meal is over and says "bye" to everyone when they leave! She also wipes her mouth and hands with her napkin!

Potty

Katie used her potty this week. She pointed to it and the babysitter put her on it. She actually peed in the potty. I think we are still not ready for full potty training but at least she knows what it is for and hopefully will try it again!

Katie got a play doctor's kit for Christmas. She likes to take the stethoscope to everyone and "check their heartbeat." Here is Katie checking on Camilla!

Visit with Grandma & Pop-pop

Grandma and Pop-pop came to visit us last weekend. Katie had a great time showing off all of her toys and being the center of attention.

Children's Museum

Mommy had today off so Katie and I went to the children's museum in the town next to us. Katie had a great time exploring each of the rooms and playing with everything.

New Year's Day

We had a nice, relaxing start to 2011 (hopefully it is a sign of the year to come). Daddy and Mommy decided to take Katie and Camilla to a local park to play in the snow. Katie was not sure about walking in the snow (it is still kind of deep) but did eventually start to enjoy the snow and even started throwing snowballs at Camilla!

Minnie Bowl

Katie got a bowl with the picture of Minnie Mouse for Christmas from Aunt Marquita and Uncle Matt. We used it for Katie's lunch today and she was surprised to find Minnie's picture under her food. She then decided to take out all of the food from the bowl and get a better look at Minnie!

Katie Texting

Katie decided to end 2010 by sitting on the couch (with her princess slippers) and using Daddy's iPhone. This is a vision of what we will be seeing a lot of in 10 years...

New Year's Eve

Daddy, Mommy & Katie went to dinner on New Year's Eve at a Chinese restaurant. Katie loved the activity around us and watching other kids in the restaurant. We left Katie stay up later last night (only to 9:00). It was a fun evening out as a family as we ended 2010.

Katie picked out some princess slippers at Target. Here she is trying them on before we headed to dinner on New Year's Eve.

Snow Day

We got to spend an extra day in South Jersey because of the 2 feet of snow that fell the day after Christmas. Katie enjoyed having more time to finish opening her gifts and spending time with everyone!
