Tantrums

It is hard to believe but the tantrums are starting. Katie threw a big tantrum at the grocery store today when Mommy would not let her ride in the cart the wrong way. She threw her hands up in the air, kicked her feet and screamed/cried for a few minutes. When Mommy ignored her long enough, she finally stopped. Katie also tries to bite Mommy when I will not let her do something. It is a good thing that she is so cute!

Hiding

Katie loves climbing under the tables in the kitchen and dining room to "hide" from Mommy and Daddy. They are just the perfect size for her now!

Spaghetti

Grandpa made Katie spaghetti this weekend when we went to visit him. We decided to let her eat naked and feed herself. Somehow during the meal, Katie put her hand on her cheek and left an orange hand print! She also touched Grandpa's new dog and left an orange mark on her white fur! Despite the mess, Katie loved the spaghetti.

Sharing

We took Katie and Camilla on a walk today and stopped at the park. Katie decided to look for sticks on the ground and give them to Camilla. She is such a sweet baby (and loves her "sister")!

New PJs?

Apparently Mommy and Daddy need to get Katie some new PJs and bibs. We realized at breakfast this morning that she was wearing Christmas PJs and a Halloween bib in May! I guess we will be doing some shopping soon.

Sick

Katie got a viral infection on Thursday which gave her a very high fever all of a sudden and made her very lethargic. She spent 5 hours in the ER. Mommy took Friday off to keep her company as she got better. As of today, her fever seems to have ended but now she has a rash all over her body. The doctor says that it will go away in a few days. We are hoping she is back to herself soon! Even though she was not in the mood to do much on Friday, I did get pictures of her playing for a few minutes.

Playground

One for Me, One for You

Katie has started sharing her meals with Camilla. She takes one piece and then throws a piece over the side. She laughs (or fake laughs) each time. Camilla loves Katie's new way to eat!

Bianca's Birthday Party

We went to Bianca's 3rd Birthday Party today (Suzette's daughter). Katie had a blast! She found a bouncy horse that she loved. We went on the slide (a big hit). After the big kids left, Katie also tried the bouncy thing (not sure what it is called, but it is a blow-up thing for the kids to jump). She loved that the most and got mad when Mommy made her get out. Katie also got to try a snow cone. She kept making weird faces after she ate it but wanted more. Kiley got a few pictures of Katie eating the snow cone.

Katie had a great time at the party and had a lot of new experiences!

Family Photo

When we were walking around the town of Chester on Mother's Day, we found a store that was taking pictures in exchange for a donation to charity. We loved the photo so we scanned it into our computer.

Mother's Day

Daddy and Katie took Mommy to brunch on Sunday in Chester. We had a great time and Katie ate everything on her plate, Mommy's plate, Daddy's plate and her gelato that came with the meal! She is definitely a good eater!

Curls

Katie is just now starting to get some curls in her hair. I love them! Here are a few pictures where I tried to get the curls on camera (it did not work out so well, but here are some cute pictures anyway).

Katie's New Seat

Katie has decided that whenever she feels like sitting, she should use her toy baskets when in her bedroom! She is a funny little girl!

Bubbles

We bought Katie bubbles last weekend. She loved watching Mommy and Daddy blow bubbles and would start laughing!
