Lots of Visitors

Katie (and the rest of us) had a lot of visitors for the Christmas weekend. We got to spend time with Aunt Lisa, Uncle Scott, Grandpa Blum, Aunt Sarah, Grandma and Pop-pop Bobinski and Grandpa and Nancy Finlay. It was great to see everyone and share the holidays with them. We missed the other family members we didn't get to see. Hopefully next year we will have more room to host more people! (Check out Grandma and Pop-pop learning Wii Bowling - Katie enjoyed watching the fun!)

The Best Gift

Christmas was a lot of fun this year with Katie. She is definitely the best gift of all. Here she is with Daddy's signature bows...

Lucky Little Girl

Katie was spoiled with lots of gifts for Christmas this year. She has officially taken over the living room! Here she is surrounded by all her new toys and gifts. She has played with everything, sat in her new rocking chair and has worn a lot of the new clothes already!

Santa's Big Gift

Santa brought Katie a little farm from Fischer Price since she just loves the farm animals. Here are some pictures of her opening the gift and playing. She also got some other neat toys from others besides Santa. More pictures to come...

Christmas Hat Tradition

Daddy decided to keep his Christmas hat tradition alive by helping Santa fill all of our stockings with the crazy hats.

Christmas Eve

We let Katie open a few gifts on Christmas Eve, including her first Night Before Christmas book. We read the book and went to bed to wait for Santa to come!

Walker/Rider

Katie got a walker/rider toy from Kiley and Josh. It was wrapped under the tree. When we were not paying enough attention, Katie ripped the wrapping paper so we just let her finish the unwrapping on Christmas Eve morning and enjoy the new toy.

Getting Ready for Christmas

I found Katie studying her Christmas book on Christmas Eve in the morning. She looked like she was getting ready for the big day!

Visit with Santa

Mommy took Katie to see Santa in town today. There was no line so it was pretty easy! Katie was not that impressed with him. She even looks like she is trying to make an exit from his lap! Hopefully she will enjoy it more next year.

Yellow Plastic Ring

Katie has a lot of toys but the thing she enjoys the most is a yellow plastic ring that is used to hang her toys on her stationary entertainer.

Snow

Katie had her first experience out in the snow today. She was not that impressed with it - especially because she hated the snow suit! I am sure it will be something that grows on her!

Christmas Card Pictures

Katie had a few cute pictures during the Christmas card "photo shoot." We could only use one, so here are some of the others.

Daddy in Charge

Mommy had a business trip to Atlanta this week so Daddy was in charge. There was one rough night but otherwise everyone did just fine (although Mommy definitely missed Katie)!

Christmas Spirit

We are finally decorated for Christmas, so we pulled out Katie's first Christmas pajamas to celebrate the occasion tonight.

Decorating the Tree

We put up our artificial tree today and decorated it. We decided not to have a real tree this year since we do not want Katie eating pine needles. She watched us put together the tree but took a nap through the rest of the decorating!

On the Move

Katie is really enjoying her ability to move - whether it be rolling, sliding or just pushing herself along. She is not crawling yet but that will be any day. Whenever I leave her in the bathroom to put her dirty clothes in the laundry, I always find her in a different position than when I left. She is exactly opposite of where I put her originally in this picture!

Day at the Park

We took a trip to a local park on Sunday with Aunt Sarah. Katie got to try a slide with Mommy and swing (which she loves)! Aunt Sarah took some pictures of all the fun. I especially love the interaction between Camilla and Katie in the last picture!

Weird Eating Position

I did not put the tray on Katie's high chair today and this is how she decided to eat her dinner. She can't even let go of the feet for a meal!

Learning to Crawl

Daddy was trying to teach Katie how to crawl this weekend. Camilla wanted to be a part of the fun!
